Frequently Asked Questions – FAQ
What are your business hours?
Although we are a UK based company, we want to make sure none of our world customers is left waiting. We work Monday to Friday 8:00 – 17:00 GMT but we do actively monitor and reply to emails outside of business hours.
Who are your partners?
Our partners are debt collection agencies and law firms specialised in commercial debt collection and credit protection services.
How can I be sure your collection partners are reliable?
We have vetted our partners using specific selection criteria. This is an ongoing process where each partner has to meet world-class professional and ethical standards with proof of sound collection competences and experience.
How much does it cost using Recoupera?
NOTHING! You don’t pay anything when using our services. You can sign up and request quotes for free. You only pay the quoted rate if the debt collector you hired recovers your money.
What countries does Recoupera cover for debt collections?
Recoupera has an extensive network of collection partners in all continents covering more than 170 countries. Although we do not cover the whole world, we keep working to eventually offering total coverage. We are confident that for whatever debt you need to collect, we have your debtor’s country already covered.
What makes Recoupera different from contacting a collection firm directly?
Recoupera is a marketplace where debt collection firms compete, wherever possible, to quote you their best rates to win your collection file. However, you can rest assured that whichever partner you choose, you are in safe hands and haven’t wasted your time and resources. Last but not least, our interest is aligned with yours since we do not earn our commission if you don’t recover your money. Fair, isn’t it?
How does Recoupera make money?
We earn a variable commission out the collector’s earned fee while ensuring that this still beats normal market rates so you can save money using our service.
What if after accepting a quote I want to change collector?
It depends whether your first chosen collector has already reached an advanced stage in collection attempts. Also, it would not be beneficial to you since different collectors acting on the same file within a short period of time may cause confusion to your debtor, even the most likeable to pay. If you have any concerns or questions, we will be pleased to discuss this beforehand over the phone or via email.
